Free Tax Help for Middle- and Low-Income Taxpayers, with Special Attention to those Age 60 and older:

• Help is provided by volunteers from the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), the IRS-VITA/TCE Tax Program, and agents of the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue.
• Seniors will be helped before younger taxpayers. No appointments can be made in advance.
• Federal, state, and local tax returns as well as rent and property tax rebates will be completed.
• State tax returns will be completed on Tuesdays.
• Please bring the following:

  • current year's tax forms such as W-2s; 1099 forms; SSA-1099 form; unemployment compensation statements; dependent care provider information; and social security numbers for all dependents.
    
  • six pre-printed return address labels
    
  • six #10 (business size) envelopes to be used for your tax return
    
  • last year's tax return

  Inclement weather: If schools are closed, tax sites are closed. In the case of a two hour delay, sites open one hour later.
