Eastern Monroe Public Library

The Board of Directors

The Eastern Monroe Public Library's Board of Directors meets on the third Tuesday of every month, at 8:30 a.m. at the Hughes Library.  Board meetings are open to the public.  The board consists of nine members who are appointed by the 10 municipalities served by the library and by the Monroe County Commissioners.  The current board members are:

Ernie Rydell, President
Michael Liberman, Appointed by the Monroe County Commissioners
Barbara Huffman, All ten Municipalities
Position Open, Pocono Township, Price Township & Jackson Township
Laura Jenkins, Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg & Hamilton Township
Don Lynch, Smithfield & Middle Smithfield
Betty Murphy, Stroud Township & Delaware Water Gap
Angelo Senese, Appointed by the Monroe County Commissioners
Todd Weitzman, Appointed by the Monroe County Commissioners
