Eastern Monroe Public Library

The Board of Trustees

The Eastern Monroe Public Library's Board of Directors meets on the third Tuesday of every month, at 8:30 a.m. at the Hughes Library.  Board meetings are open to the public.  The board consists of nine members who are appointed by the 10 municipalities served by the library and by the Monroe County Commissioners.  The current board members are:

President - Lisbet Duponte, Smithfield & Middle Smithfield

Vice President- John Field, Appointed by the Monroe County Commissioners

Secretary - Phyllis H. Gibson, Pocono Township & Jackson Township

Treasurer- Jan Morganthau, Appointed by the Monroe County Commissioners

Anthony M. Stevens-Arroyo, Stroud Township & Delaware  Water Gap
Bernadette Ewen, Stroudsburg & Hamilton Township 
Carol Pooley, East Stroudsburg & Price Township 
Gerard J. Geiger, Appointed    by the Monroe County Commissioners
Michael Liberman, Appointed by the Monroe County Commissioners
