The Board of Directors

The Eastern Monroe Public Library's Board of Directors meets on the third Tuesday of every month, at 8:30 a.m. at the Hughes Library.  Board meetings are open to the public.  The board consists of nine members who are appointed by the 10 municipalities served by the library and by the Monroe County Commissioners.  The current board members are:

Todd Weitzmann, President, Appointed by the Monroe County Commissioners
Michael Liberman, Appointed by the Monroe County Commissioners
Barbara Huffman, All ten Municipalities
Phyllis H. Gibson, Pocono Township, Price Township & Jackson Township
Bernadette Ewen, Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg & Hamilton Township
Lisbet P. Kline, Smithfield & Middle Smithfield
Position Open, Stroud Township & Delaware Water Gap
Position Open, Appointed by the Monroe County Commissioners
