Directions to the Hughes Library in Stroudsburg (Main Branch):

From the East:

Follow I-80 west across New Jersey and the Delaware River (there is a toll of $1.00 or two tokens to cross).  Travel north past the Stroudsburg exits to the exit for Bartonsville.

At the top of the exit ramp,  remain in the right hand lane so that you can turn right (south) on 611 and drive for two miles into Stroud Township.  Go through three traffic lights past the Stroud Mall on the left.  The library entrance is on the left, just past the Midas Muffler sign.

From the Lehigh Valley and Points South:

Follow Route 33 North to Bartonsville.  Exit right onto Route 611 South.

At the top of the exit ramp main in the right hand lane so that you can turn right (south) on 611.  Drive three miles, through four traffic lights.   The library entrance is on the left, just past the Midas Muffler sign.

From the North (Scranton):

Take Route 380 South towards Mount Pocono. Take Exit 1 (you must be in the left lane to take this exit). Merge onto Route 80. Take Exit 303 from Route 80 and stay straight onto Route 611. Follow Route 611 South past the Stroud Mall on your left. About a quarter mile after the Stroud Mall, you will see a Midas Muffler sign on your left. The library entrance is just past the sign.

From the West (Lehighton and Brodheadsville):

Follow Business Rt. 209 North from Brodheadsville. Once in Stroud Township, make the first left after the Monroe County Assistance Office, onto Pocono Park Drive. After driving about 200 feet, you will bear left onto Bridge Street. Make a right at the end of Bridge Street onto Route 611 South and follow for about half a mile. The library will be on the left just after the Midas Muffler sign, at the Chipperfield Drive intersection.

To the Pocono Township Branch in Tannersville:

From Route 80:

Take exit 299 (Tannersville).  At the exit, turn right onto route 715 North.   Go to second traffic light (junction 611).  Turn right onto 611 heading South.  Follow through traffic light at Mr. Z's shopping center.  Library is in the complex 2/10 of a mile past this traffic light on the right side.
The Pocono Township branch is in the municipal building, behind the  firehouse and first aid buildings.

From Stroudsburg:

Go North on route 611 through Bartonsville, into Tannersville.  Library is in the complex 5/10 (1/2) mile past the traffic light at Warner Road in Tannersville.  The Pocono Township branch is in the municipal building,  behind the firehouse and first aid buildings.
