The library's main branch, the Hughes Library in Stroudsburg, has several community
rooms that are available at no charge to local non-profit groups:
The conference room (also called "the board room") has a large table and
a maximum of 15 people can sit around it.
The Edinger Community Room holds a maximum of 130 people. This room has
folding walls that allow it to be divided into smaller rooms.
Call the reference desk at (570) 421-0800 ext. 39 to reserve either the
conference room or the Edinger Community Room.
Reservations for the current year are
acceptable at any time. Reservations for the next calender year are accepted
beginning September 1. All groups must reserve space for the new calender
year on or after September 1. There is no automatic carry over of reservation
space to the new year and we cannot guarantee that your day and time will
be available.
The activity room is usually used for children's programming.
Before using one of our community rooms for the first time, non-profit groups
are required to submit a Meeting Room Agreement Form. Click
here to read this form and print it. This form can also be obtained at
the reference desk on the second floor of the Hughes Library.
