Gifts and Donations

A gift of $25 allows the libraryto purchase, on discount, $40.00 worth of books!

The library offers several opportunities for readers to donate gifts as memorials or in honor of individuals and families.

Memorial Gifts

A meaningful way to perpetuate the memory of a friend or relative is through a memorial book gift to the Library.

Upon receipt of donations as a memorial, an acknowledgment is sent to the donor and to the family of the person honored.  Staff will choose and order appropriate materials that comply with the wishes of the donor.

A special book plate is placed inside the front cover and inscribed with the name of the person honored and a notation requested by the donor.

Honor Gifts

A contribution may be used to honor an individual or group on a birthday, anniversary or any special occasion.  A bookplate will be inscribed and attached to an appropriate item for the collection and acknowledgment sent to the person honored.
