• Pocono Township Book Club
  
  Eastern Monroe Public Library has a book discussion group that meets at 2 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Pocono Township branch of the library. Anyone with a valid library card can join the group, and you need not live in the Pocono Township vicinity. Also, you may participate in a particular week's discussion even if you're not a regular group member. Click here to see the schedule. • The Great Books Discussion Group
  
  This group meets from 7 to 9 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at the Hughes Library in Stroudsburg. An additional meeting is held on the third Thursday of each month at an area restaurant. • How to Start a Book Discussion Group
  
  Have you ever thought of joining or starting a book club? To help you get the ball rolling, the Eastern Monroe Public Library will demystify the process of choosing a book to discuss, organizing a group and facilitating a discussion. Book club veterans Evelyn Sankey and Christine Whittemore Papa will lead the program at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19 at the Hughes Library on North Ninth Street in Stroudsburg. Library staff members will distribute lists of popular book club titles along with discussion guides and book reviews. Registration for the free book group program may be made by calling the library at (570) 421-0800 ext. 39.
