Jazz and blues vocalist Lorraine Lofaso performed in concert at the Hughes Library in Stroudsburg on Friday, May 20, 2005 with a new concert, Spring Affair. She was joined by Les Kurtz on piano and John Dooley on bass. Ms. Lofaso is an accomplished singer of jazz, blues, spirituals, standards and contemporary popular songs. Her extensive list of performance credits incluedes appearances at such venues as Birdland, Iridium Jazz Club, Symphony Space, Tatou, Le Belle Epoque, CAMI Hall, City College, the New York Hilton, the Medgar Evers Jazz Festival, Club Med, and many others. She has performed extensively at libraries, festivals, colleges, and private events. Ms. Lofaso is the founder and Executive Producer of the New York-based JAbluZZes, which presents professional vocalists in live performances at New York's top jazz clubs and restaurants. Jazz, blues, gospel, classical, pop and R & B singers have been showcased by JAbluZZes since its inception in 1997.
